Element: Research and evaluate aeroplane aerodynamic shape
  • Identify common wing plan forms and evaluate relative advantages and disadvantages for aerodynamic design
  • Identify common wing configurations and evaluate relative advantages and disadvantages for aerodynamic design
  • Discuss aerofoil characteristics in terms of aircraft performance with design project team

Assessment Tasks
